Analysis
This ordinance provides for the retention of the entire license fee for an applicant's license application (new and renewal) in those cases where an applicant withdraws the application or is denied by the common council.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 90-5-4-d of the code is renumbered 90-5-4-d-1.
Part 2. Section 90-5-4-d-2 of the code is created to read:
90-5. Licensing.
4. DEPOSIT OF FEE; REFUND.
d-2. Upon withdrawal or the proper license committee's denial of a Class "D" Operator's license, the amount of $21 shall be retained by the city treasurer to defray the cost of investigation of facts and administration thereof.
