This resolution authorizes the proper city officials to insure the city’s property with the Local Government Property Insurance Fund.

Body

Whereas, The Local Government Property Insurance Fund is a division of the State of Wisconsin, Commissioner of Insurance, and has for many years provided property insurance coverage to local government entities throughout the State at a cost-effective rate; and

Whereas, The Fund was recently audited and it was recommended that updated resolutions authorizing coverage be placed on file with the Fund; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, That the proper city officials are directed to insure the city’s buildings and other property with the Local Government Property Insurance Fund under Wis. Stat. ch. 605 and amendments thereto.
