Title
Resolution amending File No. 001568, authorizing the Commissioners of the Public Debt to market general obligation "corporate purpose bonds" pursuant to the provisions of Ch. 67, Stats. (Comptroller's Office).
Analysis
This resolution authorizes the addition of the unsold authorization of File No. 001603 to the corporate purpose bond issue authorized for issuance and sale by File No. 001568.
Body
Whereas, File No. 001568 authorized the Commissioners of the Public Debt to issue and sell general obligation "corporate purpose bonds" in the aggregate amount of $181,881,235 for each of the public purposes provided by the underlying initial resolutions as set forth thereon and in the amounts shown in Exhibit A of that file; and
Whereas, File No. 001603 authorizes the issuance and sale of general obligation bonds in the amount of $425,000, of which nothing has been sold; and
Whereas, The Common Council is desirous of adding the unsold authorization of File No. 001603 to the corporate purpose bond issue authorized for issuance and sale by File No. 001568; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that File No. 001568 be and hereby is amended to authorize and request the Commissioners of the Public Debt to issue and sell general obligation corporate purpose bonds in the amount of $182,306,235, adding for the public purpose provided by the underlying initial resolution as set forth herein the amount shown to the public purpose and amount shown in File No. 001568:
