A substitute resolution authorizing an appropriation from the Common Council Contingent Fund to the Department of Public Works Administrative Services Division's services account due to a shortfall related to the City's citation processing/cash management contract.
ANLS:
- ANALYSIS - This resolution transfers $340,000 from the 1997 Common Council Contingent Fund to the Department of Public Works- Administrative Services Division for expenses related to the City's citation processing/cash management contract.
BODY:
Whereas, the 1997 adopted budget includes $2,512,209 in the Department of Public Works Administrative Services Divisions for costs related to the City's citation processing/cash management contract; and
Whereas, the actual costs related to citation processing/cash management were $3,242,983 due primarily to an increased number of citations issued and a higher cost per citation than anticipated in the 1997 budget; and
Whereas, the Department of Public Works has reduced this shortfall to $340,000 by transferring various unexpended funds; now, therefore, be it
Resolved that the City Comptroller is directed to transfer $340,000 from the Common Council Contingent Fund (09-910-8000) to the DPW Administrative Services Division services account (01-514-6300).
