- ANALYSIS -
In 1994, the Common Council approved funding and construction for a nonassessable public improvement sewer project. Additional funds are needed because of obstructions encountered during sewers placement. This resolution increases funding for the sewer project so that the work may be completed.
BODY:
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee on December 20, 1994, adopted File Number 941199 approving the authorized funding for a nonassessable sewer project, and
Whereas, This funding resolution is still valid and provide necessary partial funding authorization for this sewer project, and
Whereas, Obstructions have been encountered during the placement of the sewers; and
Whereas, Additional funds must be authorized to undertake the following improvement:

E./W. Mineral St. - S. 1st St. to S. Water St. (854-0003-1) File Number 941199: Relay combined sewer. (Nonassessable Relief and Relay Sewer Fund 31-523---171-0001 -- $500,000)
;now, therefore, be it
Resolved by the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Commissioner of Public Works is authorized and directed to proceed with said work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital purpose subaccounts.
