Analysis

This ordinance allows community gardens to dispose of debris or litter resulting from gardening activities and garden management at the city’s drop off centers without charge.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Section 200-57-6 to 7 of the code is renumbered 200-57-7 to 8.

Part 2. Section 200-57-6 of the code is created to read:

200-57. Community Garden Permit.

6. DROP OFF CENTER USE. The authorized representative of the organization approved for a community garden permit, or his/her designee, may dispose of debris or litter resulting from gardening activities and garden management at the city’s drop off centers without charge.
