This resolution amends File Number 941142 to allow the Fire Department to increase the amount of private contributions from $75,000 to $150,000 for the purpose of maintaining the special teams training programs.
BODY:
Whereas, The Common Council adopted File Number 941142 on November 29, 1994, a resolution authorizing the Fire Department to accept and expend private donations up to $75,000 for the purpose of maintaining the special teams training programs; and
 
Whereas, The Fire Department would like to be able to accept an additional $75,000 in private donations for the purpose of maintaining the special teams training programs; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that File Number 941142 is amended by deleting the amount of "$75,000" in the third "Whereas" clause, in the first "Resolved" clause and the second "Further Resolved" clause and inserting, in lieu thereof, the amount of "$150,000".
