Analysis
Currently, two representatives from the police department's sensitive crimes unit and domestic violence unit are appointed by the chief of police to the 33-member Milwaukee commission on domestic violence and sexual assault.
Under this ordinance, the chief may appoint two representatives with expertise in the areas of domestic violence and sexual assault from the police department at large.

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 320-22-3-a-4 of the code is amended to read:
320-22. Milwaukee Commission on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault.
3. COMPOSITION.
