- ANALYSIS -
This resolution will rescind the approval to install a water main in S. 9th St. (Vac) (Howard Treatment Plant) with ozone disinfection system funds. The water main will now be installed using the usual nonassessable water main funds.
BODY:
Whereas, On July 11, 1997, the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted File Number 970444 approving installation of a water main in S. 9th St. (Vac) (Howard Treatment Plant); and
Whereas, Said water main will not be installed using ozone disinfection system funds; and
Whereas, Approval to use nonassessable water fund will now be used to install said water main; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the water main installation be rescinded as follows:
"13th Aldermanic District
S. 9th St. (Vac) - W. Howard Ave. to 800 ft. m/l south of W. Howard Ave. (Howard Treatment Plant) (926-0312-2) File Number 970292: Relay water main. (Ozone Disinfection System Fund 42-641---764-2823 -- $100,000)"
; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the proper city officers comply with the requirements of File Number 881665, said File being the Guidelines for the Control of Capital Expenditures.
