Analysis
This resolution will result in the sale of five vacant lots for new residential construction.
Body
Whereas, The Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee has offered $1 each to purchase the following vacant lots for construction of five single-family homes as Phase II of its Hope VI Project:

Whereas, The Department of City Development ("DCD") recommends sale of said lots in an "as is" condition without representations or warranties including but not limited to soil quality and subsurface condition; and
 
Whereas, The City Plan Commission has determined that said lots are surplus to municipal needs; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that said lots are declared surplus, that the Offer to Purchase from the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee is accepted, that the Commissioner of DCD, or assigns, is authorized and directed to perform such acts as necessary to carry out the intent of this resolution including release of any deed restrictions and that the proceeds from the sale be credited to the Reserve For Tax Deficit Fund Account No. 0001-334106.
