Substitute motion to approve recommendations of the Utilities and Licenses Committee relative to granting of the rooming house license issued to John and Angela F. Dobron for the premises located at 1712 West Pierce Street, in the 8th Aldermanic District.
ANLS:
This substitute motion grants the rooming house license of John and Angela F. Dobron for the premises located at 1712 West Pierce Street.
BODY:
Whereas, The Utilities and Licenses Committee held an evidentiary hearing on October , 1999 relative to the granting of the rooming house license of John and Angela F. Dobron for the premises located at 1712 West Pierce Street; and
Whereas, The Utilities and Licenses Committee, after hearing all of the testimony of the Milwaukee Police Department, voted (4 ayes, 1 noes) to recommend granting of said license; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, That the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, hereby accepts the recommendation of the Utilities and Licenses Committee to grant the rooming house license of John and Angela F. Dobron for the premises located at 1712 West Pierce Street, despite police objection.
