ANLS:
- ANALYSIS - This resolution directs the expenditure of funds for certain environmental investigations and remediations by the Commissioner of Public Works.
BODY:
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions determining it necessary and in the public interest to conduct environmental investigations and remediations; and
Whereas, Preliminary cost estimates have been prepared for the following described improvements:
3025 West Ruby Avenue, Northwest Garage, Subsurface Investigation and Remediation - $50,000.
5230 West State Street, Forestry Service Building, Remediation - $75,000.
970 North Hawley Road, DPW yard Remediation - $10,000.
1313 West Mount Vernon Street, Americology, Subsurface Investigation and Remediation - $25,000.
Doyne Park, Methane Gas Mitigation Operation and Maintenance - $25,000.
; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Commissioner of Public Works is authorized and directed to proceed with said work; and, be it
Further resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital purpose subaccounts.
