Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper city officers be and they hereby are authorized and directed to issue a city check in the total sum of $250.00 payable to David Kaiser, Jr., 805 North 22nd Street, Apt. #6, 53233, to reimburse him for property damage; and, be it
Resolved, That members have taken testimony from the claimant and City representatives regarding this incident and have learned that the claimant's traffic citation was dismissed in Court. Based on this review, members of the Committee believe it is most cost-effective to compromise and reduce the amount claimed from $2,594.67 to $250.00, which represents one-half of the amount of the person's deductible for his insurance payment. This resolution would release the City from any further liability arising from this incident; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the check is to be delivered upon presentation of a proper release, approved by the City Attorney; said amount to be charged to Account No. 636505, Fund - 0001, Organization - 1490, Program - 2631, Sub Class - S118.
