Section 66.608(3)(b), Wisconsin Statutes, requires that business improvement districts submit annual Operating Plans for City approval. This resolution approves the Year 2000 Operating Plan for the Downtown Milwaukee Riverwalk Business Improvement District No. 15.
BODY:
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee ("Common Council") has created the Downtown Milwaukee Riverwalk Business Improvement District No. 15 and approved its first year Operating Plan under File No. 931824 adopted March 31, 1994; and

Whereas, Section 66.608(3)(b), Wisconsin Statutes, requires that Boards of Business Improvement Districts submit annual Operating Plans to the Common Council for approval; and

Whereas, The Board of the Downtown Milwaukee Riverwalk Business Improvement District No. 15 has submitted its Year 2000 Operating Plan for approval by the Common Council in accordance with Section 66.608(3)(b), Wisconsin Statutes; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Year 2000 Operating Plan for the Downtown Milwaukee Riverwalk Business Improvement District No. 15, a copy of which is attached to this Common Council File, is approved; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the City Treasurer, City Comptroller, Assessment Commissioner and other affected departments are authorized and directed to collect and disburse BID assessments and City contributions in accordance with said Year 2000 Operating Plan and the Year 2000 City Budget; and, be it

Further Resolved, That all City officials, departments, boards and commissions are authorized and directed to take all actions and provide such assistance needed to carry out the intent and purpose of this resolution and said approved Year 2000 Operat...
