Resolution relative to application for the HUD Asthma Grant. (Health Department)

Analysis

This resolution authorizes the Health Department to apply for the HUD Asthma Grant Project from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.  The purpose of the project is to provide care coordination, in-home case management, environmental assessment and housing interventions to children identified with persistent asthma.    

BODY:

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee appears to be eligible for grant funds from the  U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to provide care coordination, I-home case management, environmental assessment and housing interventions to children identified with persistent asthma; now, therefore, be it     

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that application to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development is authorized.
