Analysis

Resolution authorizing the proper City Officers to execute Quit Claim Deed QCD-2919 conveying a combined sewer from a point 40 feet south of the northern line of West McKinley Street and 113 feet east of the eastern line of North 6^th Street to a point 149 feet to the north, in the 4^th Aldermanic District. The sewer is being conveyed because it is no longer needed for public use.

Body

Whereas, the City of Milwaukee owns a 12-inch diameter combined sewer from a point 40 feet south of the northern line of West McKinley Street and 113 feet east of the eastern line of North 6^th Street to a point 149 feet to the north; and

Whereas, The City will convey a combined sewer from a point 40 feet south of the northern line of West McKinley Street and 113 feet east of the eastern line of North 6^th Street to a point 149 feet to the north; and

Whereas, The said sewer to be conveyed no longer serves the public interest; and

Whereas, Historic Haymarket Milwaukee, LLC has agreed to accept ownership of said sewer, and therefore be it further

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officers are hereby authorized to execute the Quit Claim Deed document (QCD-2919) in the form and substance submitted to this file (or in substantially the same form and substance as submitted, and to effectuate the intent of this resolution) and to cause the same to be recorded in the Milwaukee County Register of Deeds Office.
