Resolution approving the revised Municipal Court Non-Traffic Deposit Schedule.
Analysis
This resolution approves the revised schedule which sets forth the deposit amounts for non-traffic violations charged in the City of Milwaukee Municipal Court.
Body
Whereas, Section 800.037, Wis. Stats., states that “The deposit in traffic cases shall be made as provided in s. 345.26. In boating cases, the deposit shall be made as provided in s. 23.66 and 23.67. The municipal court, with the approval of the governing body of the municipality, shall set the deposit schedule for all other cases.”; and
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee is the governing body of the municipality; and
Whereas, It is necessary to approve a revised Municipal Court deposit schedule; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Common Council approves and adopts the revised deposit schedule of the Municipal Court which is attached to this file.
