Analysis

Currently, the area surrounding Saint Francis Hospital, bounded by S. 15th St. on the east, S. 20th St. on the west, W. Oklahoma Ave. on the north and W. Holt Ave. on the south, is a commuter parking impacted area.  This ordinance excludes both sides of the 3300 block of S. 19 St. bounded by W. Ohio Ave. on the north and W. Holt Ave. on the south from the Saint Francis Hospital commuter parking impacted area.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

 

Part 1. Section 101-27.7-9 c-14 of the code is repealed and recreated to read:

 

101-27.7Residential Daytime Parking Privilege for Commuter Parking Impacted Areas.

c.  Locations of Commuter Parking Impacted Areas.

 

c-14.  Saint Francis Hospital impacted area, bounded by S. 15th St. on the east, S. 20th St. on the west, W. Oklahoma Ave. on the north and W. Holt Ave. on the south, excluding both sides of the 3300 block of S. 19 St. bounded by W. Ohio Ave. on the north W. and Holt Ave. on the south.

 

Part 2.  Section 101-23-4-d of the code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:

 

"On South 19th Street from West Ohio Avenue to West Holt Avenue from 7:00AM to 7:00PM except Sunday and Permit".
