This resolution will accomplish separate contracts between the City and the Housing Authority; the City and the Redevelopment Authority, whereby services, materials, and equipment will be furnished by the Department of City Development, and the furnishing of services of carpenters and painters from the Support Services Division of the Department of Public Works, and other services by various City departments to said Authorities for the year 1998.
BODY:
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee has previously entered into Agreements with the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee ("Housing Authority") and the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee for the furnishing of services, materials, and equipment by the City of Milwaukee through the Department of City Development; and the services of carpenters and painters through the Support Services Division of the Department of Public Works and other services by various City departments; and

Whereas, With respect to the Cooperation Agreement with the Housing Authority, the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee and the Housing Authority, have a mutual interest in developing, implementing and accomplishing policy goals that are responsive to and supportive of the needs, concerns and aspirations of the residents of the Housing Authority's developments, which interest goes beyond the traditional scope of this Cooperation Agreement; and

Whereas, It is recommended to enter into new Agreements to continue such relationship for 1998; now, therefore, be it
