This resolution approves the transfer of $7,000 from the Municipal Art Fund to a Subaccount for an award of funding for the installation of a pavement designed artwork at the East End of the Highland Plaza Pedestrian Bridge (Children's Plaza).
BODY:
Whereas, Section 2-28 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances provides for the setting aside of funds for works of art to be used for City buildings and public facilities; and
Whereas, The Milwaukee Arts Board is recommending that funds be used for the installation of a pavement designed artwork at the East End of the Highland Plaza Pedestrian Bridge (Children's Plaza); now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that funds in the amount of $7,000 be transferred from the Municipal Art Fund Parent Purpose Account No. 31-002-0001 to Subaccount No. 31-002-1812 for the purpose of paying the Milwaukee Arts Board portion of the installation of the artwork.
