Whereas, An application was submitted by Barbara Smith and Elizabeth Brown on June 26th; and

Whereas, The application was reviewed by the Department of Public Works and all related costs have been paid; and

Whereas, The Citizen Advisory Committee on the Naming of Public Buildings, Facilities and Streets met on July 5, 2023 and voted unanimously to recommend approval of this renaming; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that renaming the 30^th and Cawker Park Area located at 2929 North 30^th Street to the Alwin Lopez (Al) Jarreau Park is approved.
