Title
A substitute ordinance relating to traffic controls in various Aldermanic Districts.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned traffic requirements in various parts of the City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-12-4-a of the Code relating to Mandatory Turns is amended by striking the following:
"Northbound North 60th Street to eastbound West Capitol Parkway"
Part 2. Section 101-12-4-a of the Code relating to Mandatory Turns is amended by adding the following:
On South 5th Street at West Virginia Street right lane must turn right northbound
On Old World 3rd Street at West State Street right lane must turn right southbound
Part 3. Section 101-13-8 of the Code relating to School Speed 20 MPH is amended by adding the following:
On East/West Center Street from North Richards Street to North 2nd Street
On East Center Street from North Humboldt Boulevard to North Pierce Street
On East Brady Street from North Arlington Place to North Astor Street
On West North Avenue from North 38th Street to North 40th Street
On West North Avenue from North Teutonia Avenue to North 14th Street
Part 4. Section 101-15 of the Code relating to Yield signs is amended by adding the following:
On West Philip Place at West Townsend Street
Part 5. Section 101-16-1 of the Code relating to Stop signs is amended by striking the following:
"North and southbound traffic on North 54th Street shall stop for West Clarke Street"
"On West Mineral Street at South 22nd Street"
"On North 59th Street at West Wright Street"
"On West Clarke Street at North 59th Street"
Part 6. Section 101-16-1 of the Code relating to Stop signs is amended by adding the following:
On West Clarke Street and North 54th Street in all directions
On West Mineral Street and South 22nd Street in all directions
On West Wright Street and North 59th Street in all directions
On West Clarke Street and North 59th Street in all directions
On West Land Place at North 7th Street
On West Land Place at North 8th Street
On North 89th Street at West Fiebrantz Avenue
On North 21st Street at West Stark Street
On West Stark Street at North 89th Street
On West Townsend Street and North 55th Street in all directions
On West Orchard Street and South 13th Street in all directions
On West Wright Street and North 41st Street in all directions
On West Mineral Street and South 21st Street in all directions
Part 7. Section 101-18-1 of the Code relating to No Heavy Traffic is amended by adding the following:
On North 21st Street at West Walnut Street northbound
Part 8. Section 101-21.5-1 of the Code relating to Designated Bicycle Lane is amended by adding the following:
On North/South 6th Street from West Clybourn Street to the roundabout north of West Virginia Street
Part 9. Section 102-14 of the Code relating to Bicycle Riding Permitted on Sidewalks is amended by adding the following:
On North/South 6th Street from West Clybourn Street to the roundabout north of West Virginia Street
On the sidewalk adjacent to the roundabout on North 6th Street north of West Virginia Street
