Title
Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2002 offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 010468 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under "Health Department, Administration Division" add one position of "Clinic Operations Manager (X)"; under "Northwest Health Center", delete one position of "Public Health Nurse Supervisor (X)"; under "Maternal and Child Health Division" add the title "Racial and Ethnic Disparities in Immunization Initiative (YY)" after the "Immunization Action Plan Grant (DD)" and add one position of "Project Manager (X)(YY)", one position of "Public Health Nurse (X)(YY)" and one position of "Office Assistant II .5 FTE (YY)" and add footnote "(YY)" to read as follows: "(YY) To expire 08/31/03 unless the Racial and Ethnic Disparities in Immunization Initiative Grant is extended. Also funds .25 FTE of a Health Access Interpreter position."
Part 2. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 010468 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under "Library, Neighborhood Library and Extension Services Decision Unit, Neighborhood Library and Extension Services Pool", delete two positions of "Librarian II", one position of "Library Circulation Assistant II" and one position of "Library Circulation Assistant II (J), and add two positions of "Librarian II (K)" and two positions of "Library Circulation Assistant II (K)" and amend Footnote "(K)" to read as follows: "(K) 29.25% of the position is funded under the Community Development Act"; under "Automotive Services Unit", delete one position of "Bookmobile Operator (J)" and add one position of "Bookmobile Operator."
Part 3. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 010468 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 24, - November 10, 2002):
Under "Department of Neighborhood Services", delete one position of "Deputy Commissioner – Building Inspection (X)(Y)" and add one position of "Chief Operations Officer (X)(Y)."
Part 4. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 010468 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under "Department of Public Works, Operations Division, Forestry Section, Administration", delete one position of "Engineering Drafting Technician IV" and add one position of "Landscape Designer"; under "Water Works, Distribution Organization, Cameron", delete fourteen positions of "Distribution Repair Worker I" and fourteen positions of "Distribution Repair Worker II" and add fourteen positions of "Water Distribution Repair Worker I" and fourteen positions of "Water Distribution Repair Worker II"; under "Water Works, Distribution Organization, Lincoln", delete fourteen positions of "Distribution Repair Worker I", fourteen positions of "Distribution Repair Worker II" and two positions of "Tapper", and add fourteen positions of "Water Distribution Repair Worker I", fourteen positions of "Water Distribution Repair Worker II", and two positions of "Water Distribution Tapping Specialist."
Part 5. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 010468 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under "Police Department, Administration/Services Decision Unit, Technical Services Bureau, Communications Operations Division", delete one position of "Police Alarm Operator", and add one position of "Police Dispatcher."
Part 6. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Part 7. The provisions of part 3 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 24 (November 10, 2002):
The provisions of all other parts of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.
Part 8. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
