Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls in various Aldermanic Districts.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the
City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the east side of North 38th Street from a point 130 feet north of the north curb line of West Lancaster Avenue to a point 220 feet north thereof at any time"
"On the east side of North 11th Street from the north curb line of West Kilbourn Avenue to a point 120 feet north thereof at any time"
"On the west side of North 20th Street from the north curb line of West State Street to a point 60 feet north at any time"
"On the east side of North 30th Street from a point 335 feet south of the south curb line of West North Avenue to a point 25 feet south thereof from 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM"
"On the north side of West Townsend Street from a point 30 feet west of the west line of North 27th Street to a point 60 feet west thereof"
"On the south side of West Forest Home Avenue from West Lincoln Avenue to a point 240 feet east thereof at any time"
Part 2. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of North 38th Street from West Lancaster Avenue north to the dead end at any time
On the south side of West Forest Home Avenue from West Lincoln Avenue to a point 160 feet east thereof at any time
On the east side of North Commerce Street from a point 35 feet south of West Fratney Street to a point 65 feet further south from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
On the south side of West Burleigh Street from North 79th Street to a point 50 feet west at any time
On East North Avenue from a point 340 feet west of North Cambridge Street to North Commerce Street at any time
On the east side of South 31st Street from West Paine Street to a point 100 feet north at any time
Part 3. Section 101-23-4-c of the Code relating to One Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the east side of North 38th Street from the north curb line of West Lancaster Avenue to a point 130 feet north thereof from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
"On the east side of North 27th Street from West Michigan Street to West Wisconsin Avenue"
Part 4. Section 101-23-4-c of the Code relating to One Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of North 61st Street from West Blue Mound Road to a point 140 feet north
Part 5. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the east side of North 12th Street from West Clybourn Street north to the property of St. Catherine's Home"
"On North 15th Street from West North Avenue to West Lloyd Street"
"On North 15th Street from West Center Street to West Hopkins Street"
"On the east side of North 24th Street from West Capitol Drive south to the south lot line of 3950 North 24th Street except Saturday, Sunday and Holidays"
"On the south side of West Forest Home Avenue from West Grant Street to South Muskego Avenue"
Part 6. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the south side of West Forest Home Avenue from West Grant Street to South 23rd Street
On the east side of North 100th Street from West Grantosa Drive to West Congress Street
On the south side of West Marion Street from North 100th Street east to the alley
On West Grantosa Drive from North 100th Street to a point 240 feet east
Part 7. Section 101-23-4-e of the Code relating to Three Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the west side of South 21st Street between West Greenfield Avenue and West Orchard Street"
