Title
Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2005 offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.
Analysis
This substitute ordinance makes positions changes to the following departments:
Department of City Development, Department of Employee Relations, Health Department; Department of Neighborhood Services.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 040459 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2005 - December 19, 2004):
Under "Department of Neighborhood Services, Cross Connection Section", delete one position of "Office Assistant II" and add one position of "Office Assistant III."
Part 2. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 040459 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 10, 2005 - April 24, 2005):
Under "Health Department, Home Environmental Health Division, Lead Demonstration Grant (NN)", add one position of "Lead Project Coordinator (LDG)(X)(NN)" and delete one position of "Lead Project Coordinator (X)(NN)"; under "Lead Based Paint Hazard Control Grant (GGG)", add one position of "Community Lead Program Manager (X)(GGG)" and delete one position of "Health Project Coordinator Lead (X)(GGG)"; under "Lead Outreach Grant (EEE)", add one position of "Health Project Coordinator (Lead)(X)(EEE)" and one position of "Lead Education Assistant (X)(EEE)" and delete one position of "Health Project Coordinator Lead (X)(EEE)" and one position of "Health Education Assistant (X)(EEE)."
Part 3. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 040459 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under "Department of City Development, General Management and Policy Development Decision Unit, Office of the Commissioner", delete one position of "Administrative Services Specialist (N)" and delete footnote "(N)" in its entirety, and add one position of "Administrative Specialist."
Under "Department of Employee Relations, Operations Division, Staffing Services Section", delete one position of "Employment Manager" and add one position of "Human Resources Manager."
Under "Health Department, Disease Control and Prevention Division, Urban Areas Security Initiative Program Grant (FFF)", delete one position of "Vet/agro Terrorism Planning Coordinator (X)(FFF)" and add one position of "Public Health Educator II (X)(FFF)"; under "Weinhardt Computerized HIV Intervention Grant (AAA)", delete one position of "Nurse Practitioner (S)(AAA)(X)" and add one position "Nurse Practitioner (AAA)(X)" and amend footnote "(AAA)" to read as follows: "To expire 3/31/06 unless the Weinhardt Computerized HIV Intervention Grant is extended"; under "Healthy Behaviors and HealthCare Access Division", delete the title "Income Maintenance Grant (P)" and delete one position of "Medical Assistance Outreach Coordinator (X)(Y)(P)", two positions of "Health Access Assistant II (X)(P)(DDD)", one position of "Health Access Interpreter (X)(P)" and one position of "Office Assistant II(P)"; delete the title "Covering Kids Grant (CC)" and delete one position of "Health Access Assistant (CC)(X)"; add the title "Medical Assistance Outreach Program" and add one position of "Medical Assistance Outreach Coordinator (X)(Y)", two positions of "Health Access Assistant II (X)(JJJ)", one position of "Health Access Assistant II (X)(CC)", one position of "Health Access Interpreter (X)" and one position of "Office Assistant II" and delete footnote "(P)" in its entirety, footnote "(DDD)" it is entirety and add footnote "(JJJ)" to read as follows: "To expire 02/28/06 unless the Wellpoint Outreach Grant is extended"; under "Immunization Action Plan Grant (DD)", delete one position of "Public Health Nurse (G)(DD)(X)" and add one position "Public Health Nurse (G)(DD)(X)(H)" and add footnote "(H)" to read as follows: "To expire 12/31/05 unless the Racial and Ethnic Disparities in Immunization Initiative Grant is extended. Partially funds a Public Health Nurse position with remainder funded under the Immunization Action Plan Grant."
Part 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Part 5. The provisions of Part 1 of this ordinance are deemed to have been in force and effect from and after Pay Period 1, 2005 (December 19, 2004).
The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to have been in force and effect from and after Pay Period 10, 2005 (April 24, 2005).
The provisions of all other parts of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.
Part 6. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
