Analysis
This resolution directs the installation and construction of certain public improvements which have been determined to be nonassessable by the Commissioner of Public Works. The City cost of the projects approved by this resolution is estimated to be $1,995,000. The total estimated cost of these projects is $4,246,000.

Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct nonassessable improvements; and
Whereas, Plans, specifications and cost estimates have been prepared for the following described improvements:

N. Teutonia Ave. - W. Groeling Ave. to W. Captiol Dr. (WT410200001) File Number 181686: Hydrant alteration. (Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 5010 -- $0; Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 6410 -- $250,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $265,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2020 construction season.

W. Capitol Dr. (south side) - N. 29th St. to N. 30th St. (WT410160607) File Number 141514: Relaying Water Main & Lead lateral replacement. (Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 5010 -- $0; Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 6410 -- $120,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $135,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2020 construction season.
N. 30th St. - W. Melvina Pl. to W. Capitol Dr. (WT410160608) File Number 141514: Relaying water main & Lead lateral replacement. (Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 5010 -- $0; Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 6410 -- $370,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $385,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2020 construction season.

(Storm Water Quality - Nonassessable Water Quality Projects to meet TMDL Requirements -- $10,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $350,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2019 construction season.

N. 26th St - 200' +/- N Of W North Ave To W Wright St (SM495180034) File Number 180294: Combined sewer lining. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $750,000 - additional funding). The total estimated cost of this project including the additional requested amount is $2,591,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2020 construction season.
N. 38th St. - W. North Ave. to W. Wright St. (WT410160628) File Number 141514: Relaying water main and lead service replacement. (Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 5010 -- $0; (Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 6410 -- $495,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $520,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2020 construction season.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Commissioner of Public Works is authorized and directed to proceed with said work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Department of Public Works is authorized to use the funding as specified in the above description of work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital Project/Grant accounts.
