Resolution approving an amendment to the 2019 Capital Fund Program Grant to the Annual Contributions Contract in the Amount of $8,357,857.00

Body

WHEREAS, The Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (HACM) and the United States of America, Secretary of Housing and Urban Development have entered into an Annual Contributions Contract(s) (ACC(s)) (HUD-53012), and this CFP Amendment to the ACC(s).

 

WHEREAS, Housing and Urban Development has agreed to provide CFP assistance to HACM in the amount of $8,357,857. The purpose of assistance is to aid HACM in carrying out development, capital and management activities at existing public housing projects in order to ensure that such projects continue to be available to serve low-income families. HUD reserves the right to provide additional CFP assistance in this FY to the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee.

 

WHEREAS, The Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee has a HUD-approved Capital Fund Five Year Action Plan and has complied with the requirements for reporting on open grants through the Performance and Evaluation Report. A review of the full ACC amendment will be available to the Board upon request. HACM must comply with 24 CFR 905.300 of the Capital Fund Final rule regarding amendment of the Five-Year Action Plan where HACM proposes a Significant Amendment to the Capital Fund Five Year Action Plan.

 

WHEREAS, the Secretary-Executive Director recommends that the CFP Amendment to the Annual Contributions Contract in the amount of $8,357,857 be accepted; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, this CFP Amendment amends the 2019 Annual Contributions Contract in the amount of $8,357,857; therefore, be it

 

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Secretary-Executive Director is hereby authorized to accept the CFP amendment of $8,357,857 to the 2019 Annual Contributions Contracts  for Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee.
