Substitute resolution determining it necessary to make various nonassessable public improvements at various locations and appropriating funds for these purposes with the City engineering cost estimated to be $500,000 for a total estimated cost of these projects being $6,984,000.
Analysis
This resolution authorizes engineering studies on projects which by City Charter are nonassessable. After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council. The City cost for engineering these projects is estimated to be $500,000 with the total cost estimated to be $6,984,000.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:
1st Aldermanic District
N. 25th St. - 125’ +/- north of W. Capitol Dr. to W. Hope Ave. (SM495210054) Relaying storm sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $12,000). The total estimated cost of this project is $232,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2022 construction season.
2nd Aldermanic District
W. Medford Ave. - W. Custer Ave. to W. Sheridan Ave. (SM495210044) Sanitary Sewer Lining. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $10,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $62,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2022 construction season.

Sewer Easement - E. Kenwood Blvd. 770’ +/- east of N. Lake Dr. to E. Hampshire St. 735’ +/- east of N. Lake Dr. (SM495210040) Relaying Sanitary and Storm Sewers. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $12,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $106,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2021 construction season.

The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $115,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2022 construction season.

Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital Project/Grant accounts.
