Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls in various Aldermanic Districts.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in
various parts of the City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the west side of North 20th Street from the north curb line of West Kilbourn Avenue approximately 70 feet north at any time"
"On the west side of South 16th Street from the south curb line of West Cleveland Avenue to a point 50 feet south thereof at any time"
"On the west side of South 22nd Street from West Grant Street to the first east/west alley south thereof from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
"On the west side of North 38th Street from the south curb line of West Blue Mound Road to a point 55 feet south thereof from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
"On the east side of North 53rd Street from the north curb lane of West Vliet Street to a point 70 feet north thereof at any time"
Part 2. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the north side of West Canal Street at a point 175 feet east of North Emmber Lane to a point 60 feet further east at any time
On the east side of South 61st Street from West Warnimont Avenue to a point 125 feet south on regular school days from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
In the alley bounded by West Washington Street, West Scott Street, South 3rd Street and South 4th Street
Part 3. Section 101-23-4-c of the Code relating to One Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the west side of North 16th Street between West Wisconsin Avenue and West Kilbourn Avenue from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM"
Part 4. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On North 19th Street from West St. Paul Avenue north to the expressway right-of-way from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
"On the east side of South 9th Street from West Maple Street to West Burnham Street from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Sunday"
Part 5. Section 101-23-4-e of the Code relating to Three Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the east side of North 60th Street from West Washington Boulevard to West Galena Street"
Part 6. Section 101-23-4-e of the Code relating to Three Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On West Lincoln Avenue from South 29th Street to South 30th Street
Part 7. Section 101-23-8 of the Code relating to Taxi Stands is amended by striking the following:
"On the east side of North 4th Street from a point 15 feet south of the south lot line of West Wisconsin Avenue to a point 68 feet south (4 cabs)"
Part 8. Section 101-27-3-b-1 of the Code relating to Alternate Side Night Parking Exceptions is amended by adding the following:
On West Grant Street from South 5th Street to South 6th Street
On West Rogers Street from South 5th Street to South 6th Street
Part 9. Section 101-32-3-d-2 of the Code relating to Two Hour Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:
On South Kinnickinnic Avenue from East Lincoln Avenue to East Linus Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM except Sunday
