Analysis

This resolution also authorizes the transfer from the 2025 Common Council Contingent Fund of up to $923,805 to various departments and accounts in order to close the 2025 financial books.

Whereas, To facilitate closing of year 2025 financial books, transfers from 2025 Common Contingent Fund are necessary; now therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that up to $847,596 from the 2025 Common Council Contingent Fund (0001-9990-C001-0063000) (2025) be transferred to the Department of Public Works - Operations Division Operating Expenditures Account (0001-5450-R999-0063000) (2025) if necessary; and, be it

Further Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that up to $58,774 from the 2025 Common Council Contingent Fund (0001-9990-C001-0063000) (2025) be transferred to the City Attorney Outside Counsel/Expert Witness Fund Special Purpose Account (0001-1490-S157-0063000) (2025) if necessary; and, be it

Further Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that up to $11,541 from the 2025 Common Council Contingent Fund (0001-9990-C001-0063000) (2025) be transferred to the Department of Administration Crisis Response for Trauma Informed Care Counseling Special Purpose Account (0001-1510-S229-0063000) (2025) if necessary; and, be it

Further Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that up to $5,894 from the 2025 Common Council Contingent Fund (0001-9990-C001-0063000) (2025) be transferred to the Department of City Development Land Management Special Purpose Account (0001-1910-S209-0063000) (2025) if necessary.
