Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls in various Aldermanic Districts.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by adding the following:
In the alley south of West Oklahoma Avenue between South 51st Street and the north/south alley east
On the south side of East Burleigh Street from North Dousman Street to North Gordon Circle on School Days from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Part 2. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the south side of West Highland Boulevard from West Martin Drive to North 35th Street from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM"
"On the south side of West Burnham Street from a point approximately 180 feet west of the west curb line of South 37th Street to the west city limits at any time"
"On the south side of West Burnham Street from the west curb line of South 37th Street to a point 180 feet west thereof from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM
"On the north side of West Vliet Street from the east curb line of North 17th Street to a point 44 feet east of the east curb line of North 17th Street at any time"
"On the east side of North 13th Street from the north line of West Vliet Street to the south line of the first driveway running east and west"
"On North 11th Street from a distance of 30 feet in front of premises at 917 at any time"
"On the east side of North 14th Street from West Wisconsin Avenue to a point 140 feet south thereof"
"On the east side of South 4th Street from the north curb line of West Maple Street to a point approximately 100 feet north thereof at any time"
"On the west side of South 12th Street from the south curb line of West National Avenue to a point 115 feet south thereof at any time"
Part 3. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the south side of West Burnham Street from South 37th Street west to the city limits at any time
On the south side of West Meinecke Avenue from North 35th Street to North 37th Street
In the alley between West Greenfield Avenue, West Orchard Street, South 11th Street and South 12th Street at any time
On the south side of West Middlemass Street from West Grant Street north to the alley from 2:00 AM to 6:00 AM
Part 4. Section 101-23-4-b of the Code relating to Thirty Minute Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On West Highland Boulevard from North 37th Street to North 38th Street from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
"On the north side of West Highland Boulevard from North 35th Street to North 37th Street from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
Part 5. Section 101-23-4-b of the Code relating to Thirty Minute Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the west side of North Milwaukee Street from East Wisconsin Avenue to a point 130 feet south thereof on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Part 6. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the south side of West Highland Boulevard from North 35th Street to North 37th Street from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Sunday"
"On West Burnham Street from South 36th Street to South 38th Street from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
"On the west side of North 15th Street from West Wright Street to West Clark Street on odd calendar dates from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
Part 7. Section 101-23-4-e of the Code relating to Three Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the west side of North 24th Street from West Michigan Street to West Wisconsin Avenue from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM"
"On South 15th Street from West Walker Street to West Mineral Street"
Part 8. Section 101-32-3-b of the Code relating to Thirty Minute Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the west side of North Milwaukee Street from East Wisconsin Avenue to a point 130 feet south thereof from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday
Part 9. Section 101-32-3-c of the Code relating to One Hour Meter Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the east side of South 43rd Street from West Forest Home Avenue to West Oklahoma Avenue from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Friday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM"
Part 10. Section 101-32-3-c-1 of the Code relating to One Hour Meter Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On South 44th Street from the north line of West Manitoba Street north to the east/west alley between West Oklahoma Avenue and West Manitoba Street from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Friday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM"
"On the north side of West Forest Home Avenue from South 43rd to South 44th Streets from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Friday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM"
"On the north side of West Oklahoma Avenue from the west line of South 44th Street to a point approximately 135 feet west from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Friday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM"
"On the south side of West Oklahoma Avenue from South 43rd to South 44th Streets from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Friday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM"
