Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls in various Aldermanic Districts.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by striking the following:
"On the west side of N. Oakland Avenue from E. North Avenue to E. Royall Place from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
"On the west side of S.1st Street from W. Greenfield to W. Kinnickinnic Avenues from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
Part 2. Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by adding the following:
On the west side of N. Oakland Avenue from a point 280 feet south of E. North Avenue to E. Royall Place from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM except Saturday and Sunday
Part 3. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the east side of N. Oakland Avenue from E. North Avenue to a point approximately 350 feet south thereof at any time"
"On the west side of N. Oakland Avenue from E. North Avenue to N. Cambridge Avenue at any time"
"On the west side of N. Oakland Avenue from a point 200 feet south of the south curb line of E. North Avenue to a point 140 feet further south thereof at any time"
"On the west side of S. 5th Place from W. Lincoln Avenue to W. Burnham Street at any time"
"On the east side of N. 80th Street from the south curb line of W. Acacia Street to a point 80 feet south thereof at any time"
"On the north side of W. Wells Street from a point 118 feet east of the east curb line of N. 5th Street to a point 40 feet east thereof at any time"
"On the west side of N. Weil Street for approximately 50 feet south of the south line of E. Hadley Street"
Part 4. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the west side of N. Oakland Avenue from a point 280 feet south of E. North Avenue to N. Cambridge Avenue at any time
On the east side of N. Oakland Avenue from a point 280 feet south of E. North Avenue to a point 70 feet further south at any time
On the east side of N. 80th Street from the south curb line of W. Acacia Street to a point 150 feet south at any time
On the east side of N. Lydell Avenue from E. Hampton Avenue to the north city limits at any time
On the south side of W. Flagg Avenue from N. 96th Street to a point 95 feet west at any time
On the west side of N. 96th Street from W. Flagg Avenue to a point 85 feet south at any time
On the west side of N. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive from W. Galena Street to W. Walnut Street on regular school days 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM except buses
On the east side of N. 50th Street from W. North Avenue to W. Lisbon Avenue
Part 5. Section 101-23-4-c of the Code relating to One Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On N. 4th Street from W. State Street to W. Kilbourn Avenue"
Part 6. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the west side of S. 7th Street from W. Windlake Avenue to W. Maple Street from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM"
"On N. 2nd Street from W. Nash Street to W. Vienna Avenue from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Sunday"
"On N. 4th Street between W. Melvina Street at W. Capitol Drive"
"On the west side of N. 3rd Street from W. Galena Street to W. Walnut Street"
"On N. 50th Street between W. North Avenue and W. Lisbon Avenue"
Part 7. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the south side of W. Pleasant Street from N. 2nd Street to N. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive
Part 8. Section 101-23-10-a of the Code relating to Winter Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the west side of N. 50th Street from W. North Avenue to W. Clarke Street"
Part 9. Section 101-23-10-a of the Code relating to Winter Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the west side of N. 50th Street from W. Lisbon Avenue to W. Clarke Street
Part 10. Section 101-24-1 of the Code relating to Tow-Away Zones is amended by striking the following:
"On E. and W. Wisconsin Avenue from N. Marshall Street to N. 8th Street from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
