Substitute ordinance relating to the change in zoning from Manufacturing (M/D/40) to Commercial Service (CS/D/40), Local Business (L/D/40) and Multi-Family Residence (R/D/40), on land located North of East Locust Street and West of North Humboldt Boulevard, in the 3rd Aldermanic District.

This substitute ordinance will change the zoning for an existing tavern from a manufacturing use to an entertainment and recreation use and the existing dwelling units to a residential use.

BODY:

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

 

Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances a new section to read as follows:

 

Section 295-330(5).0015. The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for the area bounded by the centerline of East Locust Street, the centerline of North Humboldt Boulevard, the east line of the Soo Line Railroad right-of-way, a line 300.5 feet North and parallel to the north line of East Locust Street, the west line of the Soo Line Railroad right-of-way, a line 127.5 feet North and parallel to the north line of West Locust Street and a line 119.04 feet West and parallel to the west line of North Humboldt Avenue, from Manufacturing (M/D/40) to Commercial Service (CS/D/40).

 

Section 295-320(8).0046. The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for the area bounded by the centerline of East Locust Street, the centerline of North Weil Street, a line 127.5 feet North and parallel to the north line of East Locust Street and the west line of the Soo Line Railroad right-of-way, from Manufacturing (M/D/40) to Local Business (L/D/40).

 

Section 295-130(10).0028. The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for the area bounded by the centerline of North Weil Street, a line 300.5 feet North and parallel to the north line of East Locust Street, the west line of the Soo Line Railroad right-of-way, a line 157.5 feet North and parallel to the north line of East Locust Street, a line 65 feet East and parallel to the east line of North Weil Street and a line 127.5 feet North and parallel to the north line of East Locust Street, from Manufacturing (M/D/40) to Multi-Family Residence (R/D/40).
