Analysis

This resolution authorizes the City Comptroller to transfer funds to the previously established subaccount for the remaining Wisconsin Department of Transportation and City of Milwaukee preliminary engineering costs in the amount of $39,207.72.  The City of Milwaukee’s share is $7,841.54 and the Grantor’s share is $31,366.18.  The total estimated cost of the entire project is $2,295,324.12 with a grantor share of $1,595,530.18 and a City share of $699,793.94.

Body

Whereas, The Common Council has previously adopted resolutions authorizing the City Comptroller to transfer funds to a State and/or Federal Aid project subaccount for preliminary engineering; and

Whereas, Additional planning and review during the design stage has resulted in increased costs charged and against the project; and

Whereas, Addition funds are, therefore, necessary for the estimated remaining Wisconsin Department of Transportation and City of Milwaukee preliminary engineering costs for the project; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the City Comptroller is hereby authorized and directed to transfer funds to the project grant chartfield as follows:
