Resolution File Number 971739, adopted on March 20, 1998, authorized the Department of Employee Relations to enter into contracts to retain outside consultants to assist with the City's requests for proposal and contract administration of its various employe benefit plans. This ordinance amends this resolution by changing the amounts for the specific contracts to evaluate the requests for proposal.
BODY:
Whereas, The Common Council approved Resolution File Number 971739 on March 20, 1998, authorizing the Director of Employe Relations to enter into contracts to retain outside consultants to assist with the City's requests for proposal and contract administration of its various employe benefit plans and authorizing payment of such contracts from the department's services account and from Special Purpose Accounts; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Resolution File Number 971739 is amended by deleting the "Further Resolved" clause and inserting in lieu thereof the following:
"Further Resolved, That the specific contracts to evaluate the requests for proposals are not to exceed the following amounts.
Self-funded Basic Health Plan $21,000
Health Maintenance Organizations $10,000
Utilization Review $ 6,000
Preferred Provider Network $ 8,000
Fee-for-Service Dental $10,000
Flexible Spending Accounts (medical and dependent care) $ 5,000"
