A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls.

Analysis

This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the

City.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1.  Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the east side of North Commerce Street from a point 85 feet south of North Booth Street to a point 80 feet south thereof

On the north side of West Ramsey Avenue from a point 125 feet east of South 27^th Street to a point 55 east thereof

On the north side of West Sheridan Avenue from North 60^th Street to a point 280 feet east

On the west side of South 1^st Street from West Bruce Street to a point 165 feet south

Part 2.  Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On North 6^th Street from West Juneau Avenue to West Highland Avenue”

“On the east side of North 6^th Street from West Highland Avenue to West State Street”

Part 3.  Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the south side of West Birch Avenue from North 64^th Street to North 67^th Street on School Days from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Part 4.  Section 101-23-4-e of the Code relating to Three-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the east side of North 6^th Street from West State  Street to West Highland Avenue on Saturday from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM

On North 6^th Street from West Highland Avenue to West Juneau Avenue on Saturday from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM

Part 5.  Section 101-23-4-g of the Code relating to Five-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the north side of West Highland Avenue from North 6^th Street to North 9^th Street on Saturday from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM

Part 6.  Section 101-27-3-b-1 of the Code relating to Alternate Side Night Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On South 3^rd Street from West Mitchell Street to West Maple Street”

“On South 3^rd Street from West Maple Street to a point 140 feet south”

“On South 4^th Street from West National Avenue to the Kinnickinnic River”

Part 7.  Section 101-27-3-b-1 of the Code relating to Alternate Side Night Parking is amended by adding the following:

On South 3^rd Street from West Mitchell Street to West Burnham Street

On South 3^rd Street from West Burnham Street to a point 140 feet south

On South 4^th Street from West National Avenue to West Becher Street

On South 31^st Street from West Pierce Street to West National Avenue

Part 8.  Section 101-32-3-d-4 of the Code relating to Two-Hour Meter Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On the north side of West Highland Avenue from North 6^th Street to North 8^th Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM”

“On the east side of North 6^th Street from West State Street to West Highland Avenue from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM”

“On the west side of North 6^th Street from West Highland Avenue to West Juneau Avenue from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM”

Part 9.  Section 101-32-3-e-3 of the Code relating to Three-Hour Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the east side of North 6^th Street from West State  Street to West Highland Avenue from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday through Friday

On North 6^th Street from West Highland Avenue to West Juneau Avenue from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday through Friday

Part 10.  Section 101-32-3-f-3 of the Code relating to Five-Hour Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the north side of West Highland Avenue from North 6^th Street to North 9^th Street from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday through Friday

Part 11.  Section 101-32-3-g-1 of the Code relating to Ten-Hour Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the north side of West St Paul Avenue from a point 690 feet west of North 5^th Street to North 12^th Street

On the south side of West St Paul Avenue from North 5^th Street to North 12^th Street
