Substitute resolution approving construction of nonassessable public improvement projects at various locations.

This resolution directs the installation and construction of certain public improvements which have been determined to be nonassessable by the Commissioner of Public Works.
BODY:
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct nonassessable improvements; and
Whereas, The funding source for the assessable portion of the previously approved project, File Number 990756, must be revised to undertake the following improvement:
N. 25th St. - W. North Ave. to W. Meinecke Ave. (ST3080800) File Number 960092: Concrete pavement reconstruction, replace curb and gutter and sidewalk and driveway approaches where needed, sodding, and grading. (N. King Dr. Improvement Fund -- $44,000); and
Whereas, Plans, specifications and cost estimates have been prepared for the following described improvements:

Further Resolved, That the following project be deleted from the 2000 Water Main Program:
