Title
Substitute resolution amending Common Council File Number 211618 relative to acceptance and funding of the 2021 - 2026 ARPA COVID Recovery Fund Grant from the State of Wisconsin Department of Administration.
Analysis
This substitute resolution amends CCFN 211618, accepting and funding the 2021-2026 ARPA COVID Recovery Fund Grant from the Wisconsin Department of Administration. The purpose of this grant is to implement evidence-based violence prevention and community engagement programs.
Body
Whereas, Common Council File Number 211618 authorized the Health Department to accept and fund the 2021-2026 ARPA COVID Recovery Fund grant for the purpose of implementing evidence-based violence prevention and community engagement programs; and
Whereas, the scope of work for the grant has changed, and funded position authority for this program is increased by four positions; now, therefore, be it;
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Health Department shall accept this grant without further approval unless the terms of the grant change as indicated in Milwaukee Code of Ordinances Section 304-81-5c; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Common Council directs that the 2023 Positions Ordinance C.C. File Number 220651, should be amended as follows:
