This resolution will permit the Redevelopment Authority to convey the hereindescribed land according to the conditions in the Land Disposition Report.
BODY:
Whereas, On September 17, 1998, the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee ("Authority") held a Public Hearing on the proposed sale as required by Wisconsin Statutes; and
Whereas, Pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes and as a condition precedent to the sale, lease or transfer of land, the Authority submits herewith a Land Disposition Report describing the terms and conditions of the proposed sale; and
Whereas, Prior to the sale of the properties at 1128-30 North Water Street, 1132-44 North Water Street, 209 East Juneau Avenue, 215 East Juneau Avenue and 219 East Juneau Avenue, an exemption is required from the provision of Common Council File No. 920379, which placed a moratorium on the purchase, sale or construction of any new or existing City of Milwaukee and Authority parking facilities until a Citywide Transportation Plan is adopted by the Common Council; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Land Disposition Report dated September 17, 1998, with respect to the proposed sale of the following described parcels is approved.
