N. 63rd St. - W. Villard Ave. to W. Lawn Ave. (ST211210205) Install traffic calming speed hump(s). (Assessable Reconstruction Paving Fund - $3,850; Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $1,500). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $16,600. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2022 construction season.
N. 78th St. - W. Silver Spring Dr. to W. Carmen Ave. (ST211220119) Install traffic calming speed hump(s). (Assessable Reconstruction Paving Fund - $3,430; Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $1,500). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $13,500. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2022 construction season.
W. Bender Ave. - N. 77th St. to N. 80th St. (ST211220166) Install traffic calming speed hump(s). (Assessable Reconstruction Paving Fund - $3,425; Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $1,500). (Assessable Reconstruction Paving Fund - $2,155; Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $1,500). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $7,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2022 construction season.

Capitol Dr. (ST211180195) File Number 171853: Asphalt pavement resurfacing, replace curb and gutter, sidewalk and driveway approaches where necessary, sodding (12’ width of tree border area), and grading. (Assessable Reconstruction Paving Fund - $70,170; Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $340,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $450,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2022-23 construction season.
E. Vienna Ave. - N. Humboldt Blvd. to N. Holton St. (ST211190140) File Number 200816: Concrete pavement reconstruction, narrowing roadway from 40’ to 38’, replace all curb and gutter, replace sidewalk and driveway approaches where necessary, narrowing sidewalk from 6’ to 5’, sodding (7’ width of tree border area), grading, and tree removal where necessary. (Assessable Reconstruction Paving Fund - $83,250; Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $1,051,750). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $1,180,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2022-23 construction season.

This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2022 construction season.
W. Chambers St. - N. 35th St. to N. 36th St. (ST211220126) Install traffic calming speed hump(s). (Assessable Reconstruction Paving Fund - $480; Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $1,500). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $7,300. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2022 construction season.

This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2022 construction season.

Whereas, Notices have been sent to all interested persons and public hearings held; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Commissioner of Public Works’ Report, as amended at said Public Hearing, is approved and the properties therein identified are benefited; and, be it
Further Resolved, That said Commissioner of Public Works is authorized and directed to proceed with said work in accordance with said report pursuant to Section 66.0703 and any other pertinent sections of the Wisconsin Statutes and in the manner directed by Section 115-42 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the proper departments take such action as is required of them to assess the abutting or adjacent properties and collect such assessment in the manner directed by Section 115-42 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital Project/Grant accounts; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the projects do not involve any parcels of agricultural land which are eligible for deferred special assessments under the provisions of Section 14.30 of the Milwaukee City Charter; and, be it
Further Resolved That a portion of the speed hump projects will be utilizing ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) funds: The project/grant number is RG1515236103; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Department of Public Works is authorized to use the funding as specified in the above description of work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That projects N. 63rd St. (ST211210205), N. 78th St. (ST211220119), W. Bender Ave. (ST211220166), N. 11th St. (ST211210251), N. 11th St. (ST211210260), N. 17th St. (ST211210261), N. 17th St. (ST211210262), N. Fratney St. (ST211180195), E. Vienna Ave. (ST211190140), N. 53rd St. (ST211220125), W. Chambers St. (ST211220126), S. 19th St. (ST211220137) will be billed after January 1, 2024, but not before 12 months after the project contract has been completed.
