Title
Substitute resolution determining it necessary to make various nonassessable public improvements at various locations.
Analysis
This resolution authorizes engineering studies on projects which by City Charter are nonassessable. After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council.
Body
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:
3rd Aldermanic District
E. Brady St. - N. Van Buren St. to N. Prospect Ave. (ST211030136): Crosswalk replacement. (Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $4,000)
4th Aldermanic District
N. 18th St. - W. Clybourn St. to W. Wisconsin Ave. (SM495030135): Relay combined sewer.
4th and 12th Aldermanic Districts
N. Plankinton Ave. - W. St. Paul Ave. to W. Clybourn St. (SM495030133): Relay combined sewer.
8th Aldermanic District
S. 21st St. - W. Mitchell St. to W. Maple St. (SM495030139): Relaying combined sewer.
11th Aldermanic District
S. 51st St. - W. Van Beck Ave. to W. Wilbur Ave. (SM495030136): Relaying sanitary sewer.
12th Aldermanic District

Further Resolved, That all City Departments are authorized to perform engineering, surveys, plan preparation, and determine an estimated cost thereof; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital Project/Grant accounts.
