Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls in various Aldermanic Districts.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by striking the following:
"On the east side of North 9th Street from West State Street to West Highland Avenue from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
Part 2. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the south side of West Wells Street from a point 190 feet east of the east curb line of North 31st Street to a point 45 feet further east thereof at any time"
"On the west side of South 24th Street from the north curb line of West Rogers Street to a point 120 feet north thereof from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM except Sunday"
"On the east side of South 29th Street from West Lincoln Avenue to West Forest Home Avenue from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM except Saturday and Sunday and where No Parking is in effect"
"On the east side of South 1st Street from a point 65 feet north of the north curb line of West Pierce Street extended east to a point 160 feet north thereof at any time"
Part 3. Section 101-23-4-a of the Code relating to 15 Minute Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the south side of East Wisconsin Avenue from North Jefferson Street to North Jackson Street from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM"
Part 4. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On South 7th Street between West Harrison and West Cleveland Avenues"
"On South 14th Street between West Washington Street and West Mineral Street"
"On South 3rd Street from West Mitchell Street to West Maple Street between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM"
"On East Knapp Street between North Broadway and North Milwaukee Street"
Part 5. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of North Broadway from East Ogden Avenue to East Knapp Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
On East Knapp Street from North Broadway to North Milwaukee Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
On the south side of West Brown Street from North Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive east to the alley
Part 6. Section 101-23-4-e of the Code relating to Three Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the east side of South 6th Street from West Washington to West Scott Streets"
Part 7. Section 101-23-4-e of the Code relating to Three Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On South 33rd Street from West Oklahoma Avenue to West Drury Lane
Part 8. Section 101-23-10-a of the Code relating to Winter Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the north side of West Marion Street from North 63rd Street to North 67th Street"
Part 9. Section 101-32-3-d-4 of the Code relating to Two Hour Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of North Broadway from East Ogden Avenue to East Knapp Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday
On East Knapp Street from North Broadway to North Milwaukee Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday
Part 10. Section 101-32-3-g of the Code relating to Ten Hour Meter Parking is amended by striking the following:
"In the off-street parking lot in the block bounded by North 36th Street, West Fond du Lac Avenue and West Burleigh Street from 9:00 AM to Midnight except Sunday"
Part 11. Section 101-32-3-g-2 of the Code relating to Ten Hour Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:
In the off-street parking lot in the block bounded by North 36th Street, West Fond du Lac Avenue and West Burleigh Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday
