Title

Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2001 offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 000508 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

Under "Department of City Development, Office of the Commissioner", delete one position of "Neighborhood Development Analyst-Senior (Y)" and add one position of "Economic Development and Media Specialist (Y)."

Under "Health Department, STD/HIV Prevention Training Grant (BB)", add one position of "Nurse Practitioner (BB)(X)(.5 FTE)" and under "Sexually Transmitted Disease Clinic", delete one position of "Public Health Nurse Supervisor (X)" and add one position of "Communicable and Infectious Disease Program Supervisor (X)."

Part 2.  Section 1 of ordinance File Number 000508 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby further amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2001 – December 24, 2000.):

Under "Comptroller, Community Development Act Grant Accounting (B)", delete one position of "Accounting Supervisor (B)" and add one position of "Assistant Grant Fiscal Manager (B)."

Under "Department of Public Works-Infrastructure Services Division, Transportation Decision Unit, Estimates", delete one position of "Civil Engineer III" and under "Project Programming", add one position of "Civil Engineer III."

Part 3.  Section 1 of ordinance File Number 000508 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby further amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 6, 2001 – March 4, 2001):

Under "Library, Administrative Services Decision Unit, Buildings and Grounds Section, General Unit", delete one position of "Heating and Ventilating Mechanic III" and add one position of "Facilities Control Specialist."

Part 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Part 5. The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 1, 2001 (December 24, 2000).

The provisions of Part 3 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 6, 2001 (March 4, 2001).

The provisions of all other parts of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.

Part 6. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after passage and publication.
