Title

This substitute ordinance changes positions in the following departments:
Department of Administration, Department of City Development, Fire and Police Commission, Health Department, Police Department, Department of Public Works
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 120742 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under “Department of City Development, Real Estate and Development”, add one position of “Real Estate Analyst”.
Under “Fire and Police Commission”, add footnote “(X)” to the position of “Recruiter”.
Under “Health Department”, amend footnote “(BBB)” to read as follows: “To expire 12/31/13 unless the Dual Protection Partnership Initiative from the State of Wisconsin Division of Public Health-Family Planning Program (DPH-FP) and the Family Planning Health Services, Inc. (FPHS, Inc.) is extended. Funds one position of Communicable Disease Specialist position in the STD Clinic. May partially fund one position of Nurse Practitioner position.”
Under “Police Department, Administration Services Decision Unit, Administration Bureau, Facilities Services Section”, delete two positions of “Electronic Technician Assistant” and three positions of “Electronic Technician” and add five positions of “Emergency Vehicle Equipment Installer."
Part 2. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 120742 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (effective Pay Period 1, 2013- December 23, 2012):
Under “Department of Administration, Community Development Grants Administration Division”, add one position of “Grant Monitor (C)(X)(Y)” and one position of “Business Services Specialist (B)(X)(Y)”; delete one position of “Business Services Specialist (A)(X)(Y)” and delete footnote “(D)” and add footnote “(C)” to read as follows: “(C) To expire 6/30/14 unless the Community Development Block Grant Recovery Program or the Green Jobs Innovation Fund Program is extended.”
Under “Fire Department, Operations Bureau Decision Unit, Firefighter Service”, add two positions of “Fire Lieutenant” and delete one position of “Fire Captain”.
Under “Paramedic Service”, delete three positions of “Para. Field Lieutenant/Fire Para. Field Lieutenant (I).
Under “Support Services Bureau Decision Unit, Administration Division”, add one position of “Fire Captain”.
Part 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Part 4. The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 1, 2013 (December 23, 2012).
The provisions of all other parts of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.
Part 5. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
