- ANALYSIS - This resolution authorizes the proper City officers to execute two one-year leases with Firstar Bank Milwaukee for spaces in the City owned off-street parking lots located at: 930 West Maple Street - twenty-two (22) parking spaces; and 2353 N. Farwell Avenue - ten (10) parking spaces.
BODY:
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee has entered into leases and lease extensions with Firstar Bank Milwaukee, N.A., Wisconsin for twenty-two (22) parking spaces on the offstreet parking lot located at 930 W. Maple Street, and for ten (10) parking spaces on the off-street parking lot located at 2353 N. Farwell Avenue, which expire on April 30, 1999; and
Whereas, Firstar Bank Milwaukee, N.A., Wisconsin has requested that these leases be renewed for a one-year term beginning on the first day of May 1999, under the same terms and conditions as the original leases and extensions; and
Whereas, These lots are only partially occupied for public parking, and no additional public parking needs have been identified for these lots; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officers are hereby authorized to enter into one-year leases with Firstar Bank Milwaukee, N.A., Wisconsin, each lease beginning on the first day of May, 1999, and ending on the thirtieth day of April, 2000, with two one (1) year extensions permitted at the option of the City, for spaces in the following two off-street parking lots, at the rental rates indicated, all rent payable in advance to the City of Milwaukee:
930 West Maple Street - twenty-two (10) parking spaces - at the rental of One Hundred Twenty Five Dollars ($125.00) per month;
2353 N. Farwell Avenue - ten (10) parking spaces at the rental of Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) per month.
