Title

A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls in various Aldermanic Districts.

Analysis

This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts

of  the City.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1.  Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by adding the following:

On the south side of West Florist Avenue from North 80^th Street to North 83^rd Street on school days from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM

On the east side of North 83^rd Street from West Bobolink Avenue to West Florist Avenue on school days from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM

On the south side of West Sheridan Avenue from North Strathmore Avenue to North Prentiss Street on school days from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM

On the east side of North Prentiss Street from North 72^nd Street to West Sheridan Avenue on school days from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM

On the east side of North 39^th Street from West Courtland Avenue to a point 385 feet north on school days from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM

On the north side of West National Avenue from South 3^rd Street to South 4^th Street on school days from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM

On the east side of South 4^th Street from West Virginia Street to West National Avenue on school days from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM

On the north side of East Montana Street from South Taylor Avenue to South Lenox Street on school days from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM

On the west side of South Lenox Street from East Russell Avenue to East Montana Street on school days from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM

Part 2.  Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On the west side of North Teutonia Avenue from North 29^th Street to West Ruby Avenue from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM Except Saturday and Sunday and where No parking is in effect”

Part 3.  Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the west side of North Teutonia Avenue from West Cornell Street to a point 645 feet south from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM Except Saturday and Sunday

On the north side of West St Paul Avenue from a point 45 feet west of North 4^th Street to a point 125 feet west thereof

On the south side of West St Paul Avenue from a point 130 feet west of North 4^th Street to a point 125 feet west thereof

On the south side of West Center Street from a point 180 feet east of North 7^th Street to a point 50 feet east thereof

In the alley bounded by West Pierce Street, West National Avenue, South 24^th Street and South 25^th Street

Part 4.  Section 101-23-4-c of the Code relating to One-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the east side of South 31^st Street from West Burnham Street to a point 80 feet north

Part 5.  Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On North 37^th Street between West Rohr and West Custer Avenues, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM on regular school days”

“On West Maple Street from South 3^rd Street to South 4^th Street between the hours of 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM”

“On South 13^th Street from West Becher Street to West Grant Street from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Except Saturday and Sunday”

Part 6.  Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the north side of North Water Street from North Milwaukee Street to East Pleasant Street

Part 7.  Section 101-26-5-1-b of the Code relating to Snow Parking Regulations - Four or More Inches is amended by adding the following:

On the east side of South 3^rd Street from West Pittsburgh Avenue to West Oregon Street

Part 8.  Section 101-27-3-b-1 of the Code relating to Alternate Side Night Parking is amended by adding the following:

On South 36^th Street from West Orchard Street to West Branting Lane

Part 9.  Section 101-27-9 of the Code relating to Night Parking Exceptions is amended by adding the following:

On East Ward Street from East Lincoln Avenue to South Kinnickinnic Avenue
