Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls in various Aldermanic Districts.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in
various parts of the City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by striking the following:
"On the east side of North 8th Street from West Reservoir Avenue to West Burleigh Street from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
Part 2. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the west side of North 13th Street from the south curb line of West Galena Street to a point 80 feet south thereof at any time"
"On the east side of South Superior Street from the intersection of the east curb line of South Superior Street and the north curb line of East Conway Street to a point 70 feet south thereof"
"On the north side of West Oklahoma Avenue from West Oklahoma Place to a point 40 feet west"
"On the east side of North 9th Street from West Winnebago Street south to the alley between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM"
"On the west side of North 6th Street from the north line of the east/west alley north of West Wells Street to a point 23 feet north thereof at any time"
"On the west side of South 93rd Street from the south curb line of West Beloit Road to a point 850 feet south thereof at any time"
"On the west side of South 93rd Street from a point 575 feet south of the south curb line of West Beloit Road to a point 50 feet further south thereof at any time"
Part 3. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the west side of South 93rd Street from West Beloit Road to a point 250 feet south at any time
On the west side of North 24th Street from West Rohr Avenue to West Lawn Avenue
On the south side of East Glover Avenue from North Holton Street to the dead end east of North Booth Street
In the alley bounded by West Burnham Street, West Maple Street, South 8th Street and South 9th Street
In the alley bounded by West Lincoln Avenue, West Hayes Avenue, South 13th Street and South 14th Street
On the north side of West Lincoln Avenue from South 10th Street to a point 80 feet east at any time
Part 4. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the north side of West State Street from North 24th Street to North 25th Street"
"On South Nevada Street between East Idaho and East Manitoba Streets"
"On West Vliet Street between North 27th Street and North 28th Street between the hours of 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM"
Part 5. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the south side of East St. Paul Avenue from North Broadway to a point 200 feet east from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
Part 6. Section 101-23-8 of the Code relating to Taxi Stands is amended by striking the following:
"On the east side of North 6th Street from a point 36 feet north of the north lot line of West Wisconsin Avenue to a point 32 feet north (2 cabs)"
Part 7. Section 101-26.5-1-a of the Code relating to No Parking When Snow Fall 2 Inches Or More is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of North Astor Street from East Ogden Avenue to East Lyon Street
On the east side of North Cass Street from East Mason Street to East Kilbourn Avenue
On the east side of North Cass Street from East Knapp Street to East Lyon Street
On the east side of North Marshall Street from East Mason Street to East Wells Street
On the east side of North Marshall Street from East Ogden Avenue to East Lyon Street
Part 8. Section 101-27-3-b-1 of the Code relating to Alternate Side Night Parking Exceptions is amended by adding the following:
On West Scott Street from South 7th Street to South 8th Street
Part 9. Section 101-32-3-d-4 of the Code relating to Two Hour Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the south side of East St. Paul Avenue from North Broadway to a point 200 feet east from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday
