Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct nonassessable improvements; and
Whereas, Plans, specifications and cost estimates have been prepared for the following described improvements:
7th and 15th Aldermanic Districts
W. Hadley St. - 150’ West of N. Sherman Blvd. to 50’ East of N. Sherman Blvd. (SM495220045) File Number 220871: Relaying combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $67,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $77,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2023 construction season.
8th Aldermanic District
S. 37th St. - W. Burnham St. to W. Grant St. (SM495220023) File Number 220618: Relaying sanitary sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $713,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $728,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2023 construction season.
W. Becher St. - S. 36th St. to S. 37th St. (SM495220022) File Number 220618: Relaying sanitary sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $109,000). Doing all the necessary grading pertaining to said work. (Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $50,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $60,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2023 construction season.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Commissioner of Public Works is authorized and directed to proceed with said work; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital Project/Grant accounts.
