Resolution determining it necessary to make various nonassessable public improvements at various locations and appropriating funds for these purposes with the City engineering cost estimated to be $286,000 for a total estimated cost of these projects being $8,959,000.
Analysis
This resolution authorizes engineering studies on projects which by City Charter are nonassessable. After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council. The City cost for engineering these projects is estimated to be $286,000 with the total cost estimated to be $8,959,000.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:
3rd Aldermanic District
N. Bremen St. - 300 feet north of E. Auer Ave. to E. Townsend St. (SM495170071): Relaying combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $12,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $228,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2018 construction season.
7th Aldermanic District
N. 26th St. - 390 feet south of W. Concordia Ave. to W. Concordia Ave. (SM495170070): Relaying combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $12,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $131,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2018 construction season.
W. Concordia Ave. - N. 26th St. to N. 27th St. (SM495170069): Relaying combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $12,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $110,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2018 construction season.

Further Resolved, That if surplus 2017 funds become available, some or all of the 2018 budget High impact paving projects may be funded with the 2017 funds; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital Project/Grant accounts.
