The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 120742 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under “Fire Department, EMS/Training/Education Bureau Decision Unit, Training Division”, add one position of “Inventory Control Assistant III”.
Under “Police Department, Operations Decision Unit, Narcotics”, amend footnote “(K)” as follows: “High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Grant. Position authority to expire if HIDTA funding and the HIDTA project are discontinued or until 12/31/13 unless the HIDTA grant is extended.”
Under “Operations Decision Unit, Narcotics”, amend footnote “(N)” to read as follows: “Milwaukee Metropolitan Drug Enforcement Grant: Position authority to expire 12/31/13, unless the Milwaukee Metropolitan Drug Enforcement Grant is extended.”
Under “Operations Decision Unit, District 2 and Weed & Seed Unit”, amend footnote “(S)” to read as follows: “State Beat Patrol Grant: To expire 12/31/13 unless the State Beat Patrol Program Grant available from the State of Wisconsin, Office of Justice Assistance, is extended.”
Under “Administration Services Decision Unit, Safety Division”, add one position of “School Crossing Guard (W)” and add footnote “(W)” as follows: “Position to expire 12/31/14 unless the Zoo Interchange Project grant agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation is extended.”
Under “Administration Services Decision Unit, Safety Division”, add ten positions of “School Crossing Guards (X)” and add footnote “(X)” to read as follows: “Positions to expire 12/1/13 unless the I43/94 Bridge Rehabilitation Crossing Guard grant agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation is extended.”
Under the “Department of Public Works, Fleet Services Section”, delete three positions of “Fleet Repair Supervisor III” and add three positions of “Fleet Repair Supervisor - Senior”; delete three positions of “Fleet Repair Supervisor II” and add three positions of “Fleet Repair Supervisor”; delete one position of “Automotive Mechanic Lead Worker, four positions of “Field Service Mechanic”, one position of “Fleet Equipment Inspector”, 33 positions of “Vehicle Service Technician-Heavy”, 18 positions of “Vehicle Service Technician” and add 57 positions of “Vehicle Services Technician II”; delete five positions of “Automotive Maintenance Mechanic” and add five positions of “Fleet Services Welder”;
Under “Auxiliary Positions”, delete one position of “Auto. Maintenance Mechanic” and add one position of “Fleet Services Welder”; delete five positions of “Vehicle Service Technician”, delete two positions of “Automotive Mechanic Lead Worker”, delete four positions of “Field Service Mechanic”, delete five positions of “Vehicle Service Technician - Heavy” and add 16 positions of “Vehicle Services Technician II”; delete one position of “Fleet Repair Supervisor I”, delete three positions of “Fleet Repair Supervisor II” and add four positions of “Fleet Repair Supervisor”; delete one position of “Fleet Repair Supervisor III” and add one position of “Fleet Repair Supervisor - Senior”.
Part . All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.
Part . This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
